saphirablue 's review for:
Zusammen ist man weniger allein
by Anna Gavalda
This has been a re-read for me. I've read it years ago and quite liked it.
Now? I still like it but not as much as then. Camille and Philibert are very interesting people and I would have loved to find out more about Philibert. Franck is not quite as likable but he has some moments. There is not much to say about Paulette since she is kind of only the background for the other people to interact and we only mostly read about her when other people are there too.
Sometimes the book hits way too close to home (all the parts about loneliness and Franck's experience with his one overweight buddy? I feel his buddy.) and sometimes I thought "o.O What the hell am I reading?". So, it's pretty mixed for me. *shrugs*
