Emmett is your quintessential flirty, dirty-minded cowboy, and boy, does he know how to bring the charm (YEE-HAW!). From 7% in, I was already cracking up. The banter between him and Briar is pure gold—she drives him absolutely wild, and did I mention she used to have a crush on him? Beyond his looks, Emmett’s humor is what really makes Briar (and me) smile. They’ve got each other's backs, which is always a win. Now, as a dark romance reader, the spice was a little on the mild side for me, but this story still had me laughing and crying (happy tears, promise!). Shoutout to Wren, the hilarious side character who deserves a mention. And when Emmett said, “I’ve got you,” I lost it. Emmett is so swoon-worthy, he got exclusive access to my book BF list. This final installment in the Naughton Brothers series is a must-read enemies-to-lovers gem. Even though the brothers’ stories are wrapped up, Piper and Rayne have more tales to share with the world, and I can't wait to dive into whatever comes next!
