Mama's Boy: A Story from Our Americas by Dustin Lance Black

5.0

What I liked:

*I throughly enjoyed hearing about Lance’s mother life. She over came massive obstacles throughout her life. From doctors telling her no at ever turn to a man who wanted to cause harm to her children. She worked diligently to prove them wrong and provide her children with the best she possibly could.
*It was great to see that he didn’t drag the church through the mud. He touched equally on the highs and lows that he had experienced as a member of the church.
*It was fun hearing him speak about how he got started in his career. From schooling to his movie Milk and now the activism that he does.

I do hope Lance considers writing another book to pick up where this one left off. I’d pick it up in a heartbeat!
