I must bow down AGAIN, to the queen of Saint View. In this “Standalone” we get a more in-depth view of Augie and Ophelia who we briefly met throughout the Saint View stories.
Ophelia: Scythe/Vincent’s older sister and also a trained assassin. She learns that her baby sister Fawn is missing, and on her hunt to find out who took her, meets Augie.
Augie: A stripper and prostitute, who has been searching for Fawn, is battling his demons from his past and doesn’t feel he deserves love or forgiveness.
When these two collide…. 🥵🥵🥵
Spice: 4/5
M/F
Triggers: A fair few, mostly around unaliving and family trauma, but not as many as past Saint View books.
