Skip Beat!, Vol. 1 by Yoshiki Nakamura

This manga is quite interesting and funny at times. I have also watched the anime for this and loved it when I was younger.

The main character's driving purpose was to get her revenge which I know seems naive, but I love to see her character development later in the series and her path to success in terms of how she sees and values herself, as well as her career instead of just beating Sho.

There are some characters that may be understandably frustrating or that likable, but I would still consider them to be interesting and necessary to the manga. They work well together for this type of series.

I really enjoyed reading this manga. It is a fun and light read if you are not looking too deeply into it!
