She Gets the Girl by Rachael Lippincott, Alyson Derrick

5.0

Thank you so much to NetGalley and the publisher Simon & Schuster Canada for giving me an e-ARC in exchange for an honest review!

First of all this cover is absolutely gorgeous, it’s so vibrant and really sets the mood for the cute romcom that is about to happen!

She Gets the Girl is a YA romantic comedy that follows the story of two girls, Alex Blackwood and Molly Parker. The two girls could not be more different but when Alex needs to prove herself to her girlfriend, she tries to set Molly up with her long-lasting crush. As the two get to know each other they realize they have more in common than they think and may be what the other needed all along.

Pros:
-the characters were so lovable, and realistic. They had many flaws and those flaws helped to shape the story
-the chapters were the perfect length! Not too short but not hundreds of pages either
-the storyline kept moving through the book and there were not any slow points
-there were many funny and memorable scenes that I really enjoyed!

Cons:
-don’t have any!
