Triple Cross by James Patterson

4.0

A true adrenaline surge with James Patterson's newest Alex Cross book.

Two cases are being investigated separately by detective Alex Cross and his chief of detectives wife, Bree Stone. As the story progresses, the reader is pulled into Bree's story as she follows the fashion industry case while her husband Alex is off chasing a few steps behind the killer in the Family Man murders.

Patterson weaves his magic and brings both stories together to end in a complete surprise. Meanwhile, we finally get a glimpse of who the mysterious M is from previous books in the series.

As an avid Patterson reader, I was starting to feel a bit lackluster with this series. However, Triple Cross has the same exhilarating pull I recall having when I read Along Came a Spider or Kiss the Girls. I'm anxiously looking forward to the next book, Cross Down, target release in June 2023.
