I absolutely loved diving into this murder mystery novel with the tiniest touch of romance.
Throughout the book the focus was on the female main character who has trained as a nurse and wants to keep her job as she gets thrown into a murder mystery that needs solving before anyone involved can move forward.
I loved the interwovenness of lives that the author wrote into the story, the interdependencies that come with family and familial obligations enforced by societal rules and regulations and then, there too, is the corruption at the royal court.
