This is my second reread.... and somehow I have not reviewed this gem before?! I am honestly shocked. I think I read it the first time in 2018, and now, in the crazy year of 2020, I find myself falling into the lives and adventures of this amazing group once more.
Nix, full name Annika, is a beautiful, though damaged girl running from a past few would believe. Landing in Alaska after being accepted into College, she quickly finds herself wrapped up the world she has always been a part of - even if she didn't know it.
Deeply emotional and sometimes scarring, this Reverse Harem introduces mythological shifters and a magical world hidden from human eyes. It's a slow burn, both emotionally and physically, offering the characters a chance to grow and learn about each other. Tinged with danger and a mystery that harkens from years before, this is a good start to a captivating series.
First Person, Multiple POV
Cliffhanger
NA (Upper YA for now, will be NA soonish though)
MMMMMF (M/M present)

Second read through, yet somehow my first review.... great series, fantastic start and emotionally enveloping. There is heat, though tempered in this first book, along with action and mystery. I would recommend.
