This book is better for someone who is not familiar with the real-life cases the book is based on.
I did not like the unclear nature of whether Ruth was killed by TB or Tina. The way that was done was confusing. Did she escape and then Tina killed her, as the confession made up, about someone else entirely? Or was it about Ruth?
I did like the feminist telling of it. We do need true crime stories to be told more from the victim's angle than the perpetrators'.
Narrator's Rating: 4 stars
The narrators were great! They did a great job with tonal shifts for different characters.
