really cute, heartwarming, and enjoyable book, a little predictable
i guessed both of the plot twists (erik being cameron’s dad and avery having talked down daphne from the dock) pretty much immediately when they were hinted at
but that didn’t take away any of my enjoyment of it, just made me root for the characters more

i liked the writing style with the POV shifting from chapter to chapter as well, made me feel connected to all of the characters
