The Unmarked Witch
by Miranda Lyn
3.5/4⭐️✨
This was an adequately done witchy book! Although it was slightly slow to start, and there was far too much winking from Grey, it seemed intriguing enough to keep me reading.
It was almost a rendition of a witchcraft hunger games, on a much smaller, less murdery scale. The trials kept you on edge and made you read on whilst the “evil” King kept you wondering whether or not he was truly as evil as the covens made him out to be.
However, the plot moved too fast sometimes. It felt like there either hadn’t been a lot of build up, or, time to come to terms with something that happened. It was straight onto the next which felt overwhelming and hard to keep up. I also wasn’t that invested in the love story due to this.
Overall, an ok read!
