As always, Ms. Ward has out done herself. I was really shocked and surprised at the ending, which I loved by the way. I saw her post that the next book would be "The Thief" about Assil and Sol. Not that I haven't been wanting and waiting for that story to come around again, but I was hoping Trez's story would unfold. But if it is any indication on how she writes that could happen in the next BD Legacy or the next BDB book. So I will paitently wait for that excitement to unfold.
If you are new to this series I suggest you put down what you are reading and go pick up the first in the series. I promise you, you will not regret it nor will you put it down.
This story is about The Chosen Layla and her fight for love, family and life a new. The characters are as always flawless and very thought out. The story is a steady pace, but hard to put down. As always Ms Ward focuses on several characters and not just the one center of the story. She writes three or in this case four stories unfolding at the same time with the center story being the end result and leaving you wanting more on the other stories left untold.
