I DNFed this. I just couldn’t get into it, and the format that Edelweiss sends their eARCs as is atrocious, so unless a book is really grabbing me, I just can’t do it.
I don’t know why I couldn’t get in to this book, as it claims to be Carry On meets Arthurian legend which seems like it would be right up my alley, but it just wasn’t. I didn’t really care about the characters, the plot seemed to be doing too much, trying to sort of make fun of the fact that they are basically in every fairytale, yet not?
Maybe I’ve just finally outgrown YA books and that’s why this didn’t work for me…?
