I loved reading a book where "Lestat" tells the story, but this one was a bit different, he used modern words and spoke without flair. I thought I was reading a cheap copy cat book of Anne Rice's books, but sadly I was wrong. This was a sort of filler book, not really a good story but more of a book to fill in the rest of the stories. None the less it was not THAT bad, I still went through it really fast (mostly cause I was hoping it would get better) but I expected more developments, more background just more.
