This is my first year that I have read Christmas books, and my gosh I love it. I feel like I am crawling into a Hallmark movie. I loved the premise of this book. A single girl in her 30's signs up for blind dating. 12 dates leading up to Christmas to find love. Her best friend Matt, is standing by her side the entire time, mostly to make fun of her. I thought the characters were adorable and so easy to love. My biggest complaint about this book is that it was SO wordy. I skimmed a tonnnn. Each chapter was a date, and there was an insane amount of detail about it; the surroundings, what they were doing, what they were doing, even when you knew the date was going badly. I loved the modern take on dating, and how realistic it was! Overall, I really recommend this book. It was such a quick Christmas read that got me in the holiday spirit! If you love Hallmark movies, you will love this book!!
