Devious Obsession is the second book in the Hockey Gods series.

This book is on another level than Brutal Obsession. It’s another enemies to lovers, but everything is elevated. Steele has a rocky relationship with his father and so he hasn’t met his new stepmother and stepsisters. When he first meets Aspen, his stepsister, they don’t recognize each other, but when they meet the second time, they learn each other’s names. Let the pranks begin!

Aspen has many demons, so it comes as a surprise that she can keep up with Steele’s dark side. She and Steele are such a good pair. The pranks aren’t just one-sided. As Aspen said, “It’s just our thing. We push at each other. We like to hurt. But usually with limits.” This story was so compelling and Intense, and I enjoyed every second. I will definitely be rereading this book again.

I have to say, I liked this one more than Brutal Obsession. The author has opened so many new storylines with other side characters and I really want them to have their story, such as Thalia. Gosh, I want her book so bad. Besides Thalia’s book, I think Miles’s book will be my favorite because S. Massery just gets better every book.
