Ordinary Grace by William Kent Krueger

I thought I’d like this, having spent so many years in Minnesota and having married one and all. But I found the narrator to be an annoying little shit who shouldn’t have been wherever he was, except that it served the author to drop us a few more breadcrumbs from the boy’s eavesdropping. Ugh. This was just a whodunnit after all.
