The arts? Check. New York City? Check. Cute and talented love interest? CHECK.
This book has so many positives going for it-from the girl who is trying to figure out her future because she's basically the outcast in her super-talented family, to the boy who is more than the stereotypes typical of his demographic and is fighting for people to see who he really is, to the perfect setting of New York City. I loved the characters' individual development, the development of their friendship, and of course, the romance. Definitely a great book to have on shelves in high school libraries.
