Hmm I have a lot to say but I'll try to be brief. I find this book extremely unique because I honestly haven't seen much books about romance between disabled characters but I absolutely love the central message of the book which is that you are more than just your disability or disadvantage and that you can experience life in different ways.
I love Tessa and Weston's relationship development as well as individual character development. We watch them overcome their misbeliefs(as Abbie likes to call them) and finally let each other love one another.
I love the motif of sunlight in the book as life in a way. This book just felt like a breath of fresh air and I recommend to anyone who is at a point in life where they are facing one challenging or the other because it will encourage you to not make yourself a victim of your circumstances.
Also Weston is just the best honestly, like he's just too adorable. however the flashback scenes had me crying . Another thing ,  I LOVE his friendship with Rudy, I love when books potray both romantic and platonic friendships
This book should be more popular honestly cus their romance is so underrated.
The prose is so beautiful like I love the different metaphors used to convey Tessa's emotions.
However my one complaint is that sometimes what characters would say felt too on the nose , like unnatural in an effort to be inspirational the dialogue sometimes falls flat. The ending also felt kinda rushed I feel like we should have seen more on how Weston ignoring Tessa had an effect on her a bit longer . Other than that , it was pretty good. This book got me out of my reading slump🄲
