Did not finish book. Stopped at 50%.

The premise for why she left her town is weak. The story is extremely contrived and, overall,  rather boring. The MMCs filthy mouth is good but his interest in her seemingly comes out of nowhere. I tried to keep going by focusing on dialogue but there’s so many paragraphs in between that it arrests the pacing. Just not enough here to justify continuing.
