This book was truly amazing. Right from the get-go I was hooked. The plot was so interesting and unique. The characters were amazing. Chancellor Ashcroft gave me such Palpatine vibes and it was nice knowing that he got thrown in jail. I loved Silas, especially when he turned into a cat. Idk why I loved him especially when he was a cat. His ending was heroic, though I am kind of stumped on the ending. Like, did he come back or? Anyway, Nathaniel was amazing, too. He’s my boy. I love him a lot. I love how he’s bi and it wasn’t weird, like, we have no choice but to love and appreciate. And, of course, Elisabeth. She’s me girl. I love her. A lot of people can relate to her by speaking and hearing books. I love how at the end when she received her golden key (yay) she said that she doesn’t know where she belongs. I felt that a lot. All in all, it was a really great book :)
