Small Sacrifices by Ann Rule

I went the other way and listened to Becky Babcock's side of the story in a podcast before reading the book. So I had a brief understanding of the case but did not fully know how big of a case it actually was.

This is a very capturing book. It felt slow and was a bit difficult to follow after the first 1/3 but, just like the real events, it went down very quickly once after the arrest.

The case was very complex, and I really like how the book presented the entire story very well. Even with many twists and intricate details I didn't feel lost as the story went on. The author painted a very vivid picture of who Diane Downs was.
