This was a good transition story... there were follow-ups with many of the couples we've met in past stories. There were a couple of stories-within-the-story that were interesting.

I was glad they found the taken changeling, and I was also really happy that Xavier found his Nina.

I wouldn't say this exactly moved the series forward, but it was still interesting. I will admit that sometimes I couldn't keep who was who straight, lol. There are a *lot* of them by now.
