Stranded Temptation
by Milly Taiden, April Angel
Actually 3.5 stars
Businesswoman Kara isn't sure if she wants to kiss or kill her boss, Max. On one hand, he's smart, attractive, and driven. On the other hand, he's a workaholic who wants her to cancel her birthday cruise for a business trip. When their private plane goes down on a deserted island -- they both decide on kissing as the best option, until they realize they're not alone on the island.
So, about half of this book is the stuck-on-a-seemingly-deserted-island and half about who's stealing from his company (and how far they'll go to succeed). Most of the time it works, but the plot about the almost seems like a throwaway (or maybe it's just meant to be a red herring). Plus, the fact that Kara and Max's first reaction to not dying in a plane crash is to have sex (even before making sure they're actually safe) didn't seem to fit with the previous part of the book. So, this is good, but it could have been great.
