The Picture of Dorian Gray by Oscar Wilde

4.0

This was a very interesting book for me. It was the second classic that I read this month and in comparison to Dr Jekyll and Mr Hyde it definitely drew me in quicker.

The concept of the story gives a lot to think about. What would happen if we all had a portrait that would mirror the changes made to our souls throughout the years? Another thing that I often thought about while reading was what a huge effect others can have on us, the things we do and the people we become.

Although it was difficult to get through - it is a classic after all - I really enjoyed it.
