Mindset: The New Psychology of Success by Carol S. Dweck

3.0

Great key message, but I might have preferred reading the scientific paper. The book is filled with examples of the mindsets in different context, but often these examples are just listed and not really analyzed and so don't add that much to the understanding of the concepts themselves.

I also wish the practical tips had been more numerous and specific (instead of saying "educators should foster the growth mindset in students" and then giving one example of how one teacher did it, it would have been helpful to get a step-by-step outline of what that process could look like). Then again, the book does not claim to be that guide.
