Christina needs a day off, but her boss Bill won't give it to her without getting something in return.

This book reminded me of Ava Guerre's unpublished Mutually Beneficial (RIP)! It had the same 'sexy favors for financial benefit' trope, as well as a particularly grumpy MMC. I loved the setting, and the characters were all really interesting and fun. I really related to Christina as someone who 1) works in an industrial customer service job and 2) has a grandfather who is a hoarder. Both (severely) under-represented tropes were written amazingly! The spice was also spicing, to say the least.

It slowed down a lot in the middle which is why I'm only giving it a 4 star, but overall it's a really good book!

7/24/23 EDIT: I went back and reread this and liked it as much as the first time! By the rules that I govern my rating system, I uped the star rating to 5 ⭐️!
