Only Yours by Susan Mallery

I enjoyed this book. It had a similar formula to Only Mine, girl falls in love with man that's leaving, but gets man to stay. But there was something about this one I enjoyed more.

I really enjoyed the therapy dogs that Montana works with and I really enjoyed Montana herself. If felt she was more easy to relate to as everyone has always felt there is a time in their lives when they're not lovable, where for Dakota she wasn't able to have children and not everyone experiences that.

I liked the addition of Simon's dark past. It was horrifying, but added a darker side to the story and was something that both characters dealt with in their own way.

I loved many of the smaller characters, such as Reese and Kalinda. She and Cece are just wonderful together!

There's only one thing that really bothered me, which was the Mayor Marsha asked Montana to get Simon to stay in Fool's Gold. That's kind of an odd thing to ask of someone that doesn't even really know the person. Maybe it's just me.

Also, one note for Susan!: When you're talking about the Maya, there's no "n" on the end. The only time "Mayan" is used is when you're talking about the language. I majored in anthropology in school and I learned that there. Just thought I'd add that little tidbit.

But I overall enjoyed the book and am looking forward to seeing what happens in Nevada's book!
