I loved the first part of this book but thought it got a bit too slow towards the end..

I really sympathised with William and can overlook some of the protagonist's actions since it's set in the 1980s and mental health was perceived differently. 

I wish Sylvie and William's relationship was developed a bit more as I didn't feel the extent of their love through the pages.
