I finished this book with real tears streaming down my face. Unlike some memoirs that get repetitive and predictable as the reader begins to feel that they know the author, this book kept me riveted from the first page to the last. Once I started it, all I wanted to do was read. Cupcake is an amazing writer and storyteller, and I’m so grateful that she has shared everything she has lived through in this book.
