The Simple Wild by K.A. Tucker

My poor lil heart took a beating with this book but it was beautiful and so so worth it.

I went into this book blind after scrolling through endless book lists just looking for a new author to try and picked this thinking it’ll probably be some cheesy easy read romance, when in actual fact it was a beautiful story about love. Love within families both blood related and found, the love of community and the nature surrounding them, love for your self and of course the story of falling in love.

I can’t explain in enough words how beautiful this story really is, the more I step back and think over the story has me wanting to cry and then reread it all over again. Oh and it’s very funny too!

The fmc and mmc are hilarious and if I ever met them I’d trust them immensely, they just radiate good vibes and kind hearts. This is definitely a slow burn with some excellent tension throughout, a story about a Barbie and a Yeti battling their differences until they become similarities…
