When They Call You a Terrorist: A Black Lives Matter Memoir
by asha bandele, Patrisse Khan-Cullors
This memoir has a clear mission to shines a bright light on the personal experiences and injustices against POC through the eyes of the author and aligns that representation with the BLM movement. While the memoir achieved that the writing was clumsy throughout. I would direct friends to authors that seem to have inspired this one like Monique W. Morris, Angela Davis and Audre Lorde instead of this work itself.
