please check your trigger warnings before reading. this book is 10x darker than the first book and a lot more graphic.
I immediately started this book after finishing haunting adeline. the cliffhanger definitely had me thinking and I couldn’t move on without knowing what happened and let me tell you I ate it up and was not disappointed.
this book was so well written and completely captivated me from the start. although dark, it was beautiful.
adeline’s character growth was amazing to witness. she was already a badass in book one but her strength after all the trauma she faced only made her that much stronger. the things she went through at times broke me and I couldn’t even guess what would happen next. she was the perfect fmc in my opinion.
