For fans of:
- Whimsical worldbuilding
- Vibes based stories
- Studio Ghibli vibes
This is one of those books that is really built on vibes. Lush, beautiful, and magical vibes. Reading this book is like stepping into a Studio Ghibli movie, filled with beautiful scenes, magic worlds, and whimsical characters.
I treasured my moments reading this book. It filled me with joy and a warmth. It is a story about love, family, and duty. But it is also a story about choices, fate, and the power of the little choices we make along the way in life.
Taking a fascinating concept of a pawn shop that deals in regrets and choices, mixing in the mystery of Hana’s missing father, and finishing it off with the blossoming love between Hana and Keishin - this book takes the reader on such a wild and creative journey through an truly mystical setting. Riddles, magic, fanciful settings, and strange characters fill every page of this book, and I loved every second of it.
This book was just beautiful. And again, it's very heavily a vibes book - which is not everyone's cup of tea, but it was mine. I loved Hana and Keishin and their journey through her world. I loved the magic, the lore, and the whimsy. This is a story for dreamers and the romantics and reading it was a truly magical experience.
