The Hollow Man by Dan Simmons

3.0

I did not like how much o the science in this science fiction was glossed over. What's a wavefront? What makes human minds so special that they can determine reality? If this is sentience, we suddenly have a test to determine sentience, which we can give to all our cows and pigs before slaughtering them, and we'll know for sure if their lives are worth anything.

I like the style. Easy to blast through. Page turner like Dean Koontz. Thrilling, but in the end, I can't suspend my disbelief.
