I liked the book but I had a couple of complaints about the storyline. The stories themselves are well told but they are supposed to follow different characters who are all affected by one major event. The problem is that only some of the characters he follows were really affected by that event, a number of them are fairly peripheral. The narration is a little weird as well, going from 3rd person to 1st person for different characters. Overall it was a decent read.
