The Dirt on Ninth Grave by Darynda Jones

5.0

I was a little wary at first when I started this book because the main character who is also the grim reaper, and private investigator, just became a mother and is married to the son of Satan, all of a sudden has amnesia.

Charley finds herself awaken in an alleyway in Sleepy Hollows New York with no recollection of who she is. She is given a job as a waitress and is trying to make ends meet with what little money she has and is struggling to figure out who she is. She seems to have a great support team and quickly makes friends who really seem to care about her.

I really enjoyed this book and how although Charley has amnesia she is still the same quirky, silly and caring Charley we all have come to love and adore and even memory loss wont stop her from what she was born to do.
