The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon by Stephen King

If I want to go on a ranting spree on this book, it will take me days, and even then I still won't be able to completely convey how awful this book felt to me. It was such a freaking drag! This book could have easily been 100 pages shorter.
Although there were moments which were quite tense. The writing in those moments were very "King"-ish?
But the conclusion was so half baked, I mean really? After 250 pages of anticipation, you would just end it like that? Apart from the ending, the details were just too much, I could not keep my focus on for even 1 hour straight. I just could not continue after reading almost halfway through it. Guess what? after reading half way through the book, I skipped and went onto the last few chapters, skipping almost 100 pages, and I STILL DID NOT FEEL I SKIPPED ANYTHING! This will surely go down as one of the most disappointing reads of this year, if not the most disappointing read of this year.
