Mort by Terry Pratchett

5.0

There is no justice, there is just me.

Death is one of the most charming and exceptional characters in the whole roaster of memorable characters in the Discworld. Mort is the story of a boy who is hired by Death for an apprenticeship and then shit hits the fan. The book is funny in parts, sad in some parts, and it shows the beauty of how each thing relates to everything else in the grander scheme of things.

Excellent wordplay that you can expect from any Discworld book and a story that seems to go nowhere and everywhere, but ties together beautifully in the end.

Second read and really enjoyed this one.
