Good pacing and I think relatable to the age group that it was written for. I'm a little amazed at the negative reviews received by adults seeing as these books are meant for 4th-6th grade readers. That age group needs good lit too but these simply weren't written for adults.
Regardless, I found them a quick read, good pace, and funny characters. I appreciate turning Prince Charming into a jerk as most incredibly handsome royalty get a big head and try to control things.
