I have to say, this book took me completely by surprise! The world building, characters, and the twists!
Saeris and Fisher is the classic enemy to lover trope, and it was executed well. Even their story has some omg revelations that were different from typical tropes.
The majority of the side characters were likable, with an exception or two, but for the most part, everyone added to the story. Even some of their stories had shocking revelations.
This book was a pleasant surprise and I'm eagerly waiting for book 2.
