A women floating between life and death is given the opportunity to see what her life would have been like if she had made different decisions about the moments she regretted.

Sometimes a book finds you at the exact moment you need it. That was this book for me. Lately, I have been spending a lot of time wondering "what if" and making a thousand plans for the future, not sure which to follow and then not moving forward on any of them because of anxiety and indecision. I have not had a book resonate with me this much in a very long time. I felt like the author was speaking directly to me and my situation.

Beyond that, the book is beautifully written and kept me interested throughout. The characters all felt so real, nothing they did or said felt forced, and that is something I genuinely enjoy in a book, when I don't have to stop and try to rationalize something a character does.  I cried, more than once, partially because there were some sad moments, but mostly, I think, because it just made me feel so much. The kind of feel that leaves a physical ache in your chest.

Favorite Line: "We don't have to do everything in order to be everything, because we are already infinite."
