I enjoyed it, the creepy body horror mixed with detached observation of internal and external abnormalities was done well. It didn't answer all your questions, which makes sense for a story like this! But since I saw the movie first, I think overall it hit harder than the book for me.

Not sure if I will continue the series, but enjoyed it as a standalone for sure.
