A Wild Pursuit by Eloisa James
5.0
5⭐️
Plot: Follows a house party before the host is about to give birth. The spunky aunt invites Stephen Fairfax-Lacy to set up Helene with but Stephen and Lady Beatrix Lennox, a girl taken in by the aunt after a scandal, fall for each other. Beatrix is a ruined woman and Stephen is in politics and cannot marry a woman with her reputation nor does he want to marry. As you can see the plot is wrapped together and stories emerge.
Review: I am so glad I continued with this series. This wrapped up one of my favorite couples ever. (it has been developing for 3 books now in conjuncture with the other relationships). I love how convoluted the plot was but not in a bad way at all. Like all the stories just fit together perfectly. I did like the angst though I will say this story did drag a tad sometimes. I also think this sets up the next relationship really well.

I honestly don’t remember what this book is about that is how forgettable it is, I will eventually read it though because I want to read all of Eloisa Jameses books. I am just not in the mood.
