A Kingdom of Flesh and Fire by Jennifer L. Armentrout

THE BOOK HANGOVER FROM THIS BOOK. I thought it would take me out. Jennifer really knows how to hit me right in the heart because wow. This installment was definitely better than the first book but wow wow wow the angst had me feeling like I was 16 again. The ending was even crazier than the first book. AND GUYS CAS. He is the literal bread and butter, the creme de la creme of book boys, and the last scene with him on his knees bowing before Poppy. I CANNOT BREATHE!!

Side note! Okay, listen. I love this series okay. It is great, but the "pretending" throughout the book made me want to throw it at a wall. I was like wtf you mean pretending y'all are in LOVE.
