A lovely collection of seven short stories all focused on the lives and relationships developed with a cat present. Each story stands alone but there is some character crossover that allows for time passing and growth of characters we then return to again. There was a strong emphasis on the realities of children growing up with childhood cats, the aging from kitten to elderly cat, and the transition from this life and the grief that follows.
