What a poignant, emotionally taxing and a wonderful read. Vuong has a way to make you feel things, words so beautiful, so layered I wonder how is a person capable of finding ways of putting such complex emotions on paper. The love, the struggle, the uncertainty, the fear and the resolve, it's all so gorgeously expressed. I have lost the count of the amount of times I've had to just close the book and think about what I just read. A masterpiece indeed.
