This isn’t the sort of book I’d normally read, it came my way via a blind date with a book.
Although it was slow to start/get into, in the end I was very invested in the mystery. It was a good book.
Also, irrelevant to the actual book, but I was so shocked to see single quotation marks used as speech marks, and even more so to find out that as an Aussie that’s meant to be the standard/what I was taught in school!? I guess I need to read more local authors/publishers.
