such a well written book with so many layers to it in focusing in the opioid crisis in the Appalachia. damon not only has a tragic life but he also is able to overcome at times. the ending made me happy because damon deserved to overcome addiction plus be around good people. he is more than his circumstances. this will forever be a book i think about due to how real the book felt at times and the level of love some people had for each other.
